Ciwm Lionel Gonthier

Lionel Gonthier, CIWM, is an experienced Client Relationship Manager with a focus on External Asset Managers and Private HNWI. Lionel has worked for various banks including Corner Banca SA, EFG Bank, BSI Bank, and Banca del Gottardo. Lionel has a strong entrepreneurial approach and is skilled in business development, client acquisition and retention, investment analysis, and compliance management. Prior to their career in banking, Lionel was a teacher at Villamont Public Secondary School and also worked as a freelance musician.

Lionel Gonthier pursued their education with a focus on finance and investments. In 2007, they attended AZEK - The Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals and obtained a Diplôme Fédéral d'expert en finance et investissements. Lionel further enhanced their qualifications in finance by obtaining the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) certification from the same institution in May 2008.

During their educational journey, Lionel also explored their passion for music. In 2001, they attended The London Music School and completed a Diploma One Year Performance Course in drums, with distinction. Prior to this, from 1996 to 2000, Lionel studied at HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management.
