Charles Kelley_Jr

Charles Kelley_Jr has a diverse work experience in various companies. Charles started their career in 1992 at DuPont as an Integrated Operations Manager for Dacron(R) Staple. Charles then held roles as a Site Maintenance and Engineering Manager, Senior Project Manager for Filament Yarn Start-up, and Manufacturing Unit Manager for Dacron(R) Filament Yarn. In these positions, they were responsible for workplace safety, cost management, quality, and the career development of employees. Charles also implemented LEAN and Self-Manage-Work teams.

In 1998, Charles became a Senior Sales and Marketing Account Manager at DuPont, followed by a role as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in 2000.

In 2002, they joined INVISTA as a Technology Manager, where they were a member of the Strategic Business Team responsible for Top Line Growth Improvement. Charles recruited and managed a team of engineers and scientists that achieved top line growth and new product development.

After their tenure at INVISTA, Charles returned to DuPont in 2007, first as a Senior Consultant in Reliability Engineering and then as an Area Manager for Maintenance and Engineering. Charles later became the Site Maintenance and Engineering Manager and finally, the Site Maintenance and Engineering Manager for DuPont.

In 2013, Charles joined DuPont as a Site Maintenance & Engineering Manager, a role they held until 2017 when they joined FMC Corporation as a Site Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Most recently, in 2019, Charles became the Director of Engineering and Maintenance at Cornerstone Chemical Company, where they are currently employed.

Charles Kelley Jr attended Michigan State University from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician.
