Zack Lee has years of experience in contract and in-house lobbying, helping clients develop and execute complex policy initiatives while leveraging his strong relationships within the Oklahoma executive branch and legislature and outside stakeholders.
He comes to Cornerstone from the Office of Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) where he most recently served as interim chief of staff. Zack previously served in the role of deputy chief of staff, where he led the development and implementation of the Governor’s policy initiatives including healthcare, education, energy and other sectors with cabinet secretaries, legislature, and outside stakeholders. Additionally, he served on the CARES FORWARD team responsible for leveraging roughly $1.2 billion in federal CARES funds strategically across the state throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to his work in the Governor’s office, Zack was the vice president of government and legal affairs for the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma. In this role, he served as the point person to state legislature, regulatory bodies, and outside trade groups, in addition to have developed legislative, regulatory, and legal policies and strategies in a collaborative committee process with trade group member companies. He also worked as a lobbyist for Fried, Kilpatrick and Guinn Consulting, which at the time was the largest firm in Oklahoma City.
Zack holds a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Science with a major in Microbiology from OU.
