Jamar Ahmad II

Jamar Ahmad II currently serves as the Global Engineering Project Manager at Corning Incorporated, a position held since January 2011. In this role, Jamar has developed strategies for multimillion-dollar cost reduction initiatives and managed over $29.4 million in capital for various automation projects across multiple locations, overseeing vendor management and risk mitigation. Jamar has been recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in the Corporate Capital Reduction Program, training over 30 engineers and managers. Prior experience includes roles at Rapid-Line, Inc., as an engineering contractor and at BISSELL Homecare, Inc., as an engineering co-op. Jamar holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University, where studies were completed from 2005 to 2010.
