Giles McNaught

Giles McNaught has a diverse range of work experience. Giles is currently working at Cornwall Insight as a Lead Analyst since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Wessex Water from February 2016 to October 2022, where they held the position of Energy Analyst. In this role, they managed a large-scale electricity contract for multiple sites across the South West, performed bill checking and tender analysis for contract procurement, and stayed up to date with regulatory changes. Giles also oversaw the non-daily metered gas portfolio and built internal bill checking capabilities. Before joining Wessex Water, Giles worked at OVO Energy from March 2014 to January 2016. Giles held various roles at OVO Energy, including Operations Team Member, Second Line Support, and Customer Service.

Giles McNaught completed their undergraduate education from 2010 to 2013 at Bath Spa University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in History. In addition to their formal education, Giles has acquired additional certifications including a Lean 6 Sigma Yellow Belt from The Knowledge Academy, which they obtained in April 2022. Giles has also received training in Microsoft Excel Advanced from Amathyst Training, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
