Chris Frank

Chris Frank has worked in the technology industry since 1995, beginning their career at Sun Microsystems as an Industrial Design Architect. In 2009, they were promoted to Senior Manager of User-Centered Design, a role they held until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at Oracle Corporation as a Senior Technical Manager of Industrial Design and Human Factors. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at DSSD, Inc., where they led a team of 40 engineers and earned five hardware design patents. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Vice President of Hardware Engineering and Supply Chain at Brightgate Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they were the Principal of Frank Design Lab llc., delivering hardware, usability, and design consulting. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering and Operations at Coros, where they are learning about new technologies and retooling a team from a hot demo to a robust enterprise service.

Chris Frank graduated from San Jose State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design and a Minor in Industrial Technologies, specializing in Product and Transportation Design.
