Sunil Arora

Sunil Arora leads the taxation function of the firm at the Delhi-NCR region. With almost 2 decades of experience, he has assisted various SME and large multinationals in devising transfer pricing policies and defending them before the tax authorities. An expert on international taxation, Sunil has advised several foreign companies on investment structuring into India, taxation of expatriates, tax planning avenues and other facets of cross border taxation involving interpretation of complex bilateral tax treaties. He also works closely with private equity and venture funds and assists them in undertaking due diligence on tax matters. Sunil has successfully represented his clients in contract negotiations, various tax and appellate bodies.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Sunil started his professional career with CCI in 1998. Initially worked for the firms Assurance & Compliance practice, Sunil constructed his way up the ladder to take charge of the Taxation Division in the year 2002. A member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) as well as the ITAT Bar Association in New Delhi, he plays a critical role in technical development of the firm by sharing his experience through internal seminars and white papers.

Sunil has been an active speaker at national and international platforms on taxation. Extensively travelled as a business speaker across India, UK, and Europe, he finds time to indulge in his passion for weekend rides on his Royal Enfield.
