Cindee Keaton

Vice President, Client Services at Corporate Cost Control

Cindee Keaton began her career in workforce solutions in 1977 with the Gates McDonald Company (GMD). As a Claims Examiner Cindee was introduced to unemployment programs throughout the United States. Her drive to learn when combined with her natural customer service skills quickly lead to a promotion to UC Claims Manager; where she was able to assist other team members in ensuring the success of all client programs.

In 1993 GMD felt that Cindee’s ability to build lasting relationships with all types of clients along with her knowledge of the unemployment system was an asset that was needed in their sales department. Leaving the comfort of working with existing clients was a challenge at which Cindee excelled. Cindee realized that her relationships with clients were built by listening and providing consultative solutions; and this is exactly what she did for prospective clients.

After hearing rave reviews from organizations that Cindee had worked with as both a sales and claim manager, Jay and Tim Rooney, the owners of Jon Jay Associates, knew they needed to add Cindee to their team. In 1999, Cindee began working as the Vice President of Client Relations. This allowed Cindee to pursue both of her passions. She not only got to work with existing clients to continue strengthening their unemployment programs; she also provided prospective clients with an unemployment solution she was very proud to represent.

Cindee stayed with Jon Jay Associates in this role until their acquisition by the TALX Corporation (currently Equifax) in 2005. At that time Cindee was made Regional Vice President, Client Relations, West Region. In this role Cindee worked with Regional Directors and Client Relationship Managers to focus on the retention of over 700 existing clients.

In 2012, Equifax targeted Cindee’s relationship building ability and promoted her to Key Client Director. In this role, Cindee worked with the most “important” clients to insure their satisfaction and retention. Cindee assured that clients were so satisfied, they were willing to sign new contracts in advance of their due date, solidifying her reputation for customer satisfaction.

When Jay and Tim Rooney returned to the unemployment compensation consulting business in 2009, with the acquisition of Corporate Cost Control, there were several former Jon Jay Associates team members that they really desired to have join their new company. Cindee Keaton remained on this list until January of 2018, when she joined CCC as the Vice President of Client Service.

Cindee works with CCC Account Executives and the Director of Client Service to continually improve the services provided by CCC. With Cindee’s history of success CCC is certain our clients and the service team will benefit immensely.
