Julie Effron

Julie Effron serves as a General Partner at Elephant, a venture capital firm specializing in consumer internet, mobile, and software, since 2016. Effron has actively invested in several companies, including A Cloud Guru, which was acquired by Pluralsight, and PrettyLitter, acquired by Mars. Other current investments encompass Planhat, Didomi, DataDome, Tecovas, and Corporate Finance Institute®. Previously, Effron co-founded ALICE, which was acquired by Expedia, and worked as an investor at Insight Venture Partners from 2013 to 2016. Effron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and attended Hackley School.
