Michael Gampp

Michael Gampp has extensive work experience in various roles, including as an Executive VP & Chief Risk Officer at Corporate One Federal Credit Union since September 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Advisory Services at Accolade Asset/Liability Advisory Services from October 2013 to September 2018, where they provided risk advisory and balance sheet services to over 50 financial institutions. From September 2000 to October 2013, they were the owner of Michael L Gampp CPA, where they prepared tax returns, conducted business valuations, and provided litigation support. Michael also held positions such as President/CEO at American Savings Bank, fsb from January 2011 to May 2013, and CFO at American Savings Bank from June 2000 to 2010, where they oversaw financial operations and regulatory reporting. Additionally, they worked as a CPA/Audit Partner at Reynolds & Company from June 1992 to June 2000, managing a team and ensuring quality control.

Michael Gampp completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1988 to 1991. Michael later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management from Morehead State University, attending from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications. Michael is a RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional, which they achieved in December 2021 through RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.). Michael also holds a COSO Internal Control Certificate obtained in August 2018 from the AICPA. Michael earned the Enterprise Risk Manager certification from the CUES School of Enterprise Risk Management in August 2017. Michael became a Registered Investment Advisor in November 2013, and they are also pursuing the Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA. Furthermore, Michael is a Certified Public Accountant certified by the State of Ohio Board of Accountancy.
