C.tech Mike Sokol

Mike Sokol, C.Tech, currently serves as an Engineering Technician at the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood since September 2022. Previously, Mike held the position of Project Manager at the City of Hamilton from March 2016 to April 2022, specializing in traffic signal design and construction. Earlier roles include Traffic Systems Management Analyst at the Region of Waterloo and Traffic Analyst at the Regional Municipality of Durham, where responsibilities included operating and maintaining traffic signal control systems, analyzing traffic flow patterns, and performing site investigations. Additionally, Mike worked at the Regional Municipality of York in traffic engineering and road safety, conducting field investigations and managing traffic-related inquiries. Mike earned a Technology Diploma in Transportation Engineering Technology from Mohawk College between 2007 and 2011.
