Channing Chen

Channing Chen is the Head of Tax Equity Advisory at NRG Energy, where Channing leads the tax equity advisory business. Prior to this, Channing held various roles in finance and project management in the renewable energy sector, including being the Founder and Managing Partner at Breakaway Energy Partners. Channing also served as the VP and Head of Structured Finance at SunEdison and VP of Corporate Finance at Solar Power Partners. Channing has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Chemistry from UC San Diego and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
