Avinash Kumar Giri has a diverse work background. Avinash Kumar began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at BSES Delhi in 2014. In 2015, Avinash worked as a Field Services Engineer at Ericcson Inc, where they performed troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on machines and equipment. Avinash Kumar also provided technical support to external customers and worked with cross-functional teams. Avinash then joined the Centennial College Student Association Inc. as a Guest Service Representative from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, they have been employed at Corrosion Service Company Limited, starting as a Field Technician and being promoted to Project Engineer in April 2020.

Avinash Kumar Giri began their education journey in 2011 at Motivational Pathway, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Avinash Kumar completed their degree in 2015. In 2016, they enrolled at Centennial College to obtain a Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, which they successfully completed in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Avinash has also obtained several certifications. In June 2018, they completed the Utility Vehicle Training Course offered by the Canada Safety Council. In January 2015, they completed a Training Program on Virtual Instrumentation at the National Instruments. Avinash became a Cathodic Protection Technician - Level 2 (CP) through NACE International in April 2022. Avinash Kumar achieved the Engineer In Training certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in October 2019. Moreover, they acquired the H2S ALIVE certification from Energy Safety Canada in June 2019 and acquired the Standard First Aid, CPR and AED certification from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in May 2019.
