Gary Chung

Gary Chung has over 16 years of work experience in various roles related to labor safety, health, and environmental health and safety (EHS) engineering. Gary most recently worked at Corsair in 2020, focusing on labor safety and health. Prior to that, they were employed at HAVI from 2014 to 2020, where they served as an EHS Assistant Supervisor. In this role, they advised management on new risks, legislation, and progress on company health and safety objectives.

Before joining HAVI, Gary worked as an EHS Engineer at the ABGTA-3M Company from 2010 to 2014. At ABGTA-3M, they worked on manufacturing facilities and was responsible for ensuring environmental health and safety compliance.

Gary also has experience as an EHS Engineer at LIOHO MACHINE WORK, LTD from 2005 to 2009, where they focused on implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Prior to that, Gary worked as a Facility Engineer at Zhen Ding Technology Holding Limited from 2004 to 2005.

In 2001, they earned a Waste Clearance & Disposal Technician (Class A) certification from the Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan, R.O.C. The following year, in 2002, they obtained certifications as a Dedicated Wastewater and Sewage Treatment Specialist (Class A) and a Dedicated Air Pollution Control Specialist (Class A) from the same institution.

In 2009, Gary earned certifications as an ISO 14001:2004 Lead Auditor from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and as an OHSAS 18001:2007 Lead Auditor from AFNOR Certification. In 2010, they obtained a Labor Safety & Health Management Technician (Class B) certificate from the Technician Certificate, Republic of China.

Their most recent certification is an ISO 14064-1:2018 Internal Verification obtained in September 2019 from SGS.
