Michael John

Michael joins Cortex with 12+ years of experience in the energy industry, driving innovative solutions that bridge the technical and operational challenges of energy management for diverse organizations. He comes from 7AC Technologies, a technology startup acquired by Fortune 500 manufacturer Emerson Electric, where he served as Lead Application Engineer working to commercialize a novel liquid desiccant HVAC system. Prior to 7AC, Michael worked as a Solutions Architect for EnerNOC’s Energy Intelligence Software business where he built and led programs generating six-figure savings through low and no-cost energy conservation measures. Michael has a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
