Andrea Coleman

Andrea Coleman (Matthews) has a diverse work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Andrea has held positions at various companies, including Corus Entertainment, Spin Master, Public Health Ontario, Infinitum Recruiting, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited, Canadian Tire Corporation, GS1 Canada, TVO, and CIBC.

In their most recent role as Lead, Recruitment Specialist at Corus Entertainment, Andrea is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality content and brands across platforms. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Talent Acquisition/Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Spin Master, where they developed global recruiting strategies to support different departments within the company.

Andrea also worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Public Health Ontario and a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Infinitum Recruiting. Furthermore, they served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited and Manager, Strategic Sourcing/ Talent Acquisition & Lead Technology Talent Acquisition at Canadian Tire Corporation. At GS1 Canada, they held the position of Senior Recruitment Consultant. Before that, they worked as a Senior Talent and Engagement Partner at TVO and a Talent Acquisition Partner - Capital Markets at CIBC.

Throughout their career, Andrea has demonstrated their expertise in developing and deploying recruiting strategies, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and managing the full cycle recruitment process. Andrea has also been involved in various employee initiatives and has experience in strategic workforce planning.

Andrea Coleman (Matthews) holds a BAA in Journalism from Ryerson University, where they studied communication, journalism, and related programs. Andrea also completed a degree in Human Resources Management from Humber College. Additionally, Andrea has obtained certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, as well as Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2021. Andrea also holds a BA with honors in English from York University.
