David Altman

David Altman has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. David started their career at Walt Disney Feature Animation as a Compositor in 1997. David then joined Nelvana in 2000 as a Technical Director in 3D animation. David worked in various technical director roles at Nelvana and Corus Entertainment from 2000 to 2015. In 2015, they also spent some time at Arc Animation as a FLO Scene Prep, working on a secret project before returning to Nelvana. Overall, they have expertise in 3D animation and technical directing.

David Altman attended the ITDC from 1999 to 2000, where they pursued a University of Toronto Architecture sponsored course in 3D Animation Maya. Prior to that, they studied at Ryerson University from 1976 to 1978, focusing on Theater. David also obtained a Diploma in traditional animation from Sheridan College in 1973.
