D. Brennan Yellowlees, EIT has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2012. In 2012, they began working at Chevron in various roles, including Operations Engineer, Completions Engineer, Drilling and Completions Category Specialist, Drilling and Completions Engineer, and Drill Site / Well Site Manager. In 2021, they joined Corva as the Drilling QC Lead, where they perform deep dives into metadata to identify and solve data QA/QC issues, improves Daily and End of Well QC checks to ensure the best achievable data quality, and collaborates with developers to improve efficiencies through automation. D. Brennan also serves as a Drilling Data Analyst, building customer dashboards and supporting customers building their own dashboards, ensuring proper operation of the web-based system through continuous checks, and identifying various types of data quality issues through regular QAQC checks and following procedures to correct issues.
D. Brennan Yellowlees, EIT holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University. D. Brennan has also obtained certifications from Coursera in Python Data Structures (September 2021), Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) (May 2021), Autodesk CAD/CAM/CAE for Mechanical Engineering Specialization (April 2021), CAM and Design Manufacturing for Mechanical Engineers with Autodesk Fusion 360 (April 2021), Simulation Analysis for Mechanical Engineers with Autodesk Fusion 360 (with Honors) (March 2021), Modeling and Design for Mechanical Engineers with Autodesk Fusion 360 (with Honors) (January 2021), and Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Design and Manufacturing with Fusion 360 (with Honors) (December 2020). In April 2021, D. Brennan Yellowlees, EIT was also granted an Engineer In Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
