Sergey Pogorelov

Sergey Pogorelov is a software architect currently working for Corva since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Python Developer at GlobalLogic from 2019 to 2021. Sergey was also a Senior Software Engineer at SoftServe from 2019 to 2020, where they worked on a CI pipeline for a Java (maven) project. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a DevOps Engineer and Python Security Engineer at Levi9 Ukraine, where they developed and refactored Ansible roles for CI systems, wrote custom rules for AWS Config, and developed an internal microservice. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Sr. Software Development Engineer | DevOps at Freelancer, where they optimized local development environments and performed simple security testing and security analysis. Sergey was also a Sr. Software Development Engineer at Ambisafe for 25 days in 2017. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Sr. Software Development Engineer at Decorist, where they split the monolith Django project into microservices with JWT authentication. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Sr. Software Development Engineer at Rubyriders LLC, where they refactored authentication (backend and frontend) and migrated from jQuery to AngularJS 1. In 2014, they worked as a Customer Project Specialist at Schneider Electric. Additionally, they worked on their own petproject from 2018 to 2021, which was a view of the local dev environment that could save time on the step that consumes more time than all others, create a more secure environment, and speed up communication in the team.

Sergey Pogorelov attended Kottans in 2013, Pryazovskyi State Technical University from 1998 to 2002 where they received a Master's Degree in Automated Management of Engineering Processes, and Mariupol, Ukraine, school №10 from 1987 to 1998.
