Katie Sangha has extensive work experience in the field of computer vision engineering. Katie started their career at Xtreme Labs (now Pivotal Labs) as an Agile Software Engineer Intern during the summer of 2013, where they developed software in an agile, pair-programming environment. Katie continued to work at Pivotal Labs as an Agile Software Engineer from May 2013 to August 2014, where they developed software in an agile, test driving, pair-programming environment and took on responsibilities such as writing accurate and maintainable code.
In 2015, Katie joined Ryerson University as a Research and Teaching Assistant and completed a thesis in human pose retrieval using deep embeddings for imagery and language. Katie worked in this role until September 2018.
Katie's next role was at IBM in 2016 as an Extreme Blue Software Engineer Intern. Katie then joined HOVER Inc. in January 2019, where they worked as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer until August 2022.
Currently, Katie Sangha is working at Corvus Robotics since February 2023 as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer.
Katie Sangha completed their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2011, they attended Humber College and obtained a Computer Engineer Technologist Diploma in Computer Science. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at Ryerson University. Finally, they advanced their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Ryerson University between 2015 and 2018.
