Brenda Blanchard

Brenda Blanchard is an experienced registered nurse with a diverse background in healthcare and education. Currently serving at Coryell Memorial Healthcare System since June 2017, Brenda floats between the ER, ICU, and Med/Surg departments. In addition to nursing, Brenda is the CEO of Bluebonnet Farm, managing responsibilities as a beekeeper, farmer, and rancher since August 2014. Brenda's previous experience includes teaching nursing at Central Texas College, where responsibilities included instructing mental illness and medical/surgical classes, overseeing students in clinical settings, and chairing the Admissions & Standards committee. Brenda's nursing career also includes roles as an RN staff nurse in emergency rooms at Providence Healthcare and Geary Community Hospital, as well as a RN charge nurse in ICU at Beatrice Community Hospital. Brenda began professional nursing as an LVN charge nurse at Parkview Center. Educationally, Brenda holds a diploma in nursing from Bryan School of Nursing and an LPN certification from Southeast Community College.
