Ian Fripp

Ian Fripp, CPA, CA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and governance. Currently serving as Group Financial Controller at CoSA VFX since December 2021, Ian has previously held significant roles such as Head of Finance and Administration at Promosa Management Inc and Chief Financial Officer at MATRIX Camps. Ian's tenure at HSBC from 2013 to 2017 involved overseeing corporate governance and SOX compliance for a balance sheet exceeding $95 billion, while also consulting for European and UK teams on account management. Prior to that, Ian managed assurance services for a diverse client portfolio at BDO Canada and gained early experience in banking at Scotiabank. Ian holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the CA School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern British Columbia, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree in Geography from Capilano University.
