Biomedical Engineer at Cosm Medical

Allie Blokker has four years of work experience in the biomedical engineering field. In 2019, they began working as a Biomedical Engineer at Cosm Medical. In 2018, they were a Post-Graduate Research Assistant at Robarts Research Institute. From 2015-2018, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Robarts Research Institute, where they designed, implemented, and validated a control algorithm for the motion simulator in LabVIEW, designed, constructed, and validated all electronic systems for the motion simulator, designed and conducted FEA on motion simulator components using SolidWorks, and designed, conducted, and analyzed experiments on the intact ACL and lateral knee stabilizing structures. In 2013, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Western University.

Allie Blokker attended A. B. Lucas Secondary School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their highschool diploma. Allie then attended Western University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc) in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Finally, they returned to Western University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Engineering Science (MESc) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
