Sami Marsch has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. They started their career as a Freelance UI artist at RedLynx in 2011 and later worked as a Game Artist and Junior Game Artist at Digital Chocolate. In 2011, they also worked as a Lead Game Artist at Grey Area. From 2013 to 2014, Sami served as an Associate Lead Artist at RedLynx, a Ubisoft Studio. They then co-founded Ministry of Games in 2014 and held roles as Co-Founder, Art Director and Co-Founder, Product Manager until 2020. In 2020, they joined Seriously Digital Entertainment as a Senior Game Artist until 2021. From 2022 to 2023, they worked at Skunkworks as a Creative Director, overseeing art direction for new IPs and mentoring artists. Following this, Sami worked at Huuuge Games as a Senior Game Artist and later as an Art Director. Currently, they are employed as an Art Director at Cosmic Lounge starting in 2023.
Sami Marsch completed the Game Executive Program at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2016. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they attended the Adulta Radio and Television Institute where they earned a degree in Media Assistent with a focus on Game Art. Sami'seducation journey began at the Helsinki Senior Secondary School of Visual Arts, where they graduated in 2005 with a Senior Secondary School degree in Art.
