Christopher Breunig

Christopher Breunig has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Corporate Counsel at Costco Wholesale since April 2021. Prior roles include Assistant General Counsel at Premera Blue Cross, focusing on data use and information technology agreements, and Principal at their own law firm, providing commercial and intellectual property transaction counsel. Breunig's background includes significant tenure at Microsoft Corporation, where contributions included legal counsel for product licensing and IT transactions, as well as leading initiatives that improved agreement localization and procurement processes. Earlier career experiences include positions at several law firms, supporting technology companies, commercial bankruptcy, and a law clerk role at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Christopher Breunig holds a J.D. with distinction from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and an AB in Political Science from Stanford University.
