Jon Raper

Jon Raper is an accomplished information security executive with extensive experience in leading security operations and developing strategic programs across multiple high-profile organizations. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and AVP-Deputy CISO at Costco Wholesale since July 2020, Raper is responsible for the global information security strategy of a $158 billion enterprise with a vast international presence. Previously, Raper held the position of Senior Director of Global Information Security at Oracle, where significant advancements in security operations were achieved, and Director of Security Incident Response at Walmart, overseeing security for 10,000 stores. Raper's career began at the U.S. Secret Service as a Special Agent, followed by a role as Senior Manager in Data Assurance & Cyber Intelligence. Raper holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas and a SANS Security Leadership certification.
