Zoe Smith

Zoe Smith is a scientist with extensive experience in the fields of functional genomics, mechanistic pharmacology, and drug discovery. Currently part of the Functional Genomics team at CoSyne Therapeutics, Zoe previously worked as a cell scientist at Cancer Research Horizons, focusing on developing spheroid viability assays for cancer research. Previous roles included positions at Cancer Research UK and Sygnature Discovery, where Zoe contributed to integrated drug discovery programs targeting cancer immunotherapy. Zoe holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham, where research centered on the influence of the extracellular environment on astrocyte phenotype, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of York. Skills include independently designing experiments, analyzing data, and managing various cell lines, complemented by a strong publication record.
