Taryn Oconnell

Taryn OConnell is an experienced healthcare administrator with a strong background in operational and strategic management within urgent care and primary care settings. As the Administrative Director of Primary & Urgent Care at Cottage Health since July 2015, Taryn oversees 13 urgent care centers and has successfully launched two primary care clinics, with plans for a third. Previous roles include Administrative Director of Urgent Care Operations, where Taryn managed 15 urgent care locations, and Service Line Director at Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital. Taryn also contributed to the Community Health Initiative with a focus on educational outreach for Somali women and has held leadership positions in various healthcare organizations, including Phillips Neighborhood Clinic and United Hospital. Taryn holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
