Ramya Balakrishnan

Ramya Balakrishnan currently serves as the Sr. Director of Global Talent at Coty, where responsibilities include designing and executing enterprise-wide strategies for leadership continuity and organizational resilience while leading a global team. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli, Ramya teaches Digital HR to MBA students, focusing on modern HR practices. Additionally, as a Foundational Advisor for Women Defining AI, Ramya advocates for gender equality in technology, especially in AI. Previous roles include Director of Talent at Sun Life, where Ramya fostered a culture of learning and implemented hybrid work principles, and Head of Talent & Performance Management at Maxis, where a five-year talent strategy was developed. Ramya holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli and a certificate in HR Analytics from Cornell University.
