Senior Software Engineer (Golang) – Couchbase Capella

Job Summary:  Seeking an experienced Golang developer with expertise working in public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure to join our engineering team that is building the next generation of cutting edge Database as a Service.  As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for development, testing, and operations of high performance systems that operate databases at scale in a public cloud environment.  

Responsibilities:

  • Design, and develop high performance systems in Golang that power Capella.
  • Act as technical lead for a feature and/or subsystem by owning software design, leading implementation, and contributing to release planning. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and QA to deliver high-quality solutions to complex problems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience developing applications on the cloud preferably in Golang
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of AWS, GCP and Azure platforms.  Any level of certification is helpful, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of large scale distributed systems design and operational challenges.

Location: 
The work location is Bangalore and mandatorily this role required to Work from office thrice in a week.
