Director, Student Opportunities at Council for Opportunity in Education

Angela Holley is the Director of Student Development Services at the Council for Opportunity in Education. Angela previously held the title of Director of the Heart of Appalachia Talent Search Program at Marshall University, where Angela served 600 students in Mason and Wayne county with assistance for post-secondary education. Additionally, Angela was the Statewide Coordinator for College Goal Sunday. Holley holds a Master's Degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies, M.A. in Counseling, and a B.A. in Psychology from Marshall University.

Council for Opportunity in Education

The Council for Opportunity in Education is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, dedicated to furthering the expansion of college opportunities for low-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities throughout the United States. Its membership includes more than 1,000 colleges and agencies. Through its numerous membership services, the Council works in conjunction with colleges, universities, and agencies that host TRIO programs to specifically help low-income students enter college and graduate. More than one million low-income and disabled students each year receive college access and retention services through our member colleges and agencies.
