Amanda M Bennett is a Research Associate at the Council of Canadian Academies, where Amanda M works with experts to assess complex scientific topics. Previously, Amanda M was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Trent University, focusing on amphibian occupancy modelling and eDNA. Amanda M also served as a Turtle Conservation Intern at Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve. Amanda holds a PhD in Environmental and Life Sciences from Trent University, an MS in Biology from Laurentian University, and a BSc in Zoology and Studio Arts from the University of Guelph.
