Michelle Cyr

Michelle Cyr serves as the Director of the Office of Health Sciences at the Council of Ontario Universities since July 2013, where leadership is provided to a team of policy professionals focused on enhancing Ontario's health science programs and collaborating with government and partners to improve health care. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Corporate Affairs at Ontario Health from April 2012 to July 2013, and as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Council of Ontario Universities from March 2007 to April 2012, where efforts were made to promote collaboration and develop policies for efficient program delivery. Additional experience encompasses a Nursing Practice Consultant position at Providence Healthcare and a Practice Consultant role at the College of Nurses of Ontario, alongside a foundation in nursing as a Registered Nurse at The Hospital for Sick Children. Michelle Cyr holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor of Nursing from Athabasca University, and a Diploma in Registered Nursing from George Brown College.
