Avery Bower

Avery Bower serves as a History Department Assistant at Cornell University since August 2022 and has held multiple leadership roles within the Cornell University College Republicans, including President, Executive Vice President, and Vice President of Internal Operations. In addition to leading the organization, Avery manages relationships with various stakeholders and organizes key events like the annual trip to the Conservative Political Action Conference. Avery is also active in the Cornell Political Union as a Floor Leader and Recruitment Assistant, focusing on member development and recruitment efforts. Other notable roles include Director of Alumni Relations for Zeta Psi Fraternity, Inc., and serving as President of The Alexander Hamilton Society chapter at Cornell, where leadership includes organizing national defense speaker events. Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History, with minors in Jewish Studies and Law & Society, and has completed internships at The Claremont Institute and the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
