James Long

James Long is the Associate Director at the Council on Foreign Relations. James has previously worked as an Associate Producer for NBC News and as Cross-Platform Content Coordinator for MSNBC. In their role at the Council on Foreign Relations, James is responsible for producing domestic and international stories, scripting the anchor's reads, selecting video and audio elements, and ideating and ordering full screen graphics. James is also responsible for thoroughly researching story subjects and adhering to strict journalistic standards.

James Long has a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis from Baruch College.

James Long reports to Caroline Netchvolodoff, Vice President, Education. They are on a team with Rania Salem Manganaro - Associate Editor, Alexandra Labonte - Program Associate, and Charles Hopkins - Director, Teaching and Learning.
