Nawal Khurram currently serves as a Program Assistant at the Council on Foreign Relations, focusing on the Center on Education since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Advocacy Intern at the Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation and as a Pakistan Advisor at the United Nations, both in 2023. Nawal also interned at the International Rescue Committee as an Economic Empowerment Intern and at the Commission on Refugees and Immigration Affairs as a Policy Advocacy and Research Intern in 2022. A Policy Fellow at atomcamp and a Launch Team Intern at Noon, Nawal contributed to the launch of an educational application in Pakistan. Nawal holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Human Rights from Trinity College-Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford, along with an International Baccalaureate from United World College Changshu China.
