Zongyuan Zoe Liu

Zongyuan Zoe Liu, PhD, CFA, currently serves as the Maurice R. Greenberg Senior Fellow for China Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations since February 2022 and holds an adjunct assistant professor position at Columbia University from January 2024. With extensive experience in academia and research, Zongyuan Liu has lectured at The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies since September 2016 and previously held roles at Texas A&M University and Tufts University. Notable past positions include Head of Editorial Content and ESG Research at Global SWF and a postdoctoral research fellow at Columbia University. Zongyuan Liu earned a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree from The George Washington University.
