Matt Tamburro

Matt Tamburro is a seasoned professional in venture investments and strategic partnerships, currently serving as VP at M&T Bank since May 2022, where efforts focus on enhancing growth through relationships within the venture ecosystem. Additionally, Matt holds the position of Counter Club Ambassador at Counterpart Ventures since January 2024, facilitating a network for corporate venture capitalists to share insights and best practices. Involved since October 2020 with IU Ventures as part of the IU Angel Network, Matt contributes to equity investments in promising startups. Previous experience includes a Vice President role in Institutional Equity Research Sales at Jefferies and an Associate Director position at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Matt Tamburro earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and a B.S. in Engineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science.
