Rick Conrad

VP-Sales at Country Pure Foods

Rick Conrad has extensive work experience in the food industry, holding various positions in sales, marketing, and management throughout their career.

Rick started their career at General Foods Corporation as a Territory Manager from 1981 to 1984. Rick then joined The Quaker Oats Company, where they held multiple roles, including Territory Manager, Sales Planning Manager, and Region Manager. In these positions, they successfully expanded Quaker representation, increased sales, and developed programs that significantly improved business performance. Rick was also recognized with the Pinnacle Award, the highest performance award at Quaker Oats.

At The Quaker Oats Company, Conrad also served as the National Manager of Distributor Buying Group from 1989 to 1995. In this role, they were responsible for all national buying groups and implemented various programs that significantly increased sales.

Conrad then joined The Quaker Oats Company's subsidiary, Ardmore Farms, as the Marketing Development Manager from 1996 to 1998. In this role, they were responsible for sales and marketing strategies that led to increased profits and successful partnerships with key accounts.

Conrad's next role was with Country Pure Foods, where they worked from 1998 to 2002. Rick served as the Director of Food Service Sales in the Western Division, responsible for developing business plans, managing mergers, and restructuring contracts. In this role, they achieved significant sales growth and margin improvement.

In 2000, Conrad joined National Accounts, where they served as the Director responsible for developing programs and alliances. Rick increased national account business by 100% and improved profitability through restructuring initiatives.

Conrad returned to Country Pure Foods in 2002 and took on various leadership roles, including National Manager and VP-Sales. In these positions, they successfully restructured the sales and marketing organization, increased margins and profitability, and negotiated key accounts.

In 2003, Conrad became the Vice President of Country Pure Foods, Inc., where they oversaw all functional areas of the company and achieved sales growth and margin improvement.

Throughout their career, Rick Conrad has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and sales and marketing skills in the food industry.

Rick Conrad completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business from the University of Kentucky. Rick later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the University of Dayton.
