Operating under the regulatory framework of Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority (WDRA), this national-level institution empowers commodity stakeholders like farmers, FPOs, processors, manufacturers and traders by digitizing warehouse storage receipts, thus facilitating ownership and transfer of commodity assets electronically. This also protects customers from multiple risks associated with traditional warehouse paper-receipts like, fraudulent issuance of warehouse receipts without receipt of goods, over-statement of value or quality of goods, fraudulent issuance of duplicate warehouse receipts, loss, mutilation, tampering or fudging of information in warehouse receipts etc.. 

CCRL provides secure repository services to customers who deposit commodity-assets in WDRA-registered warehouses across India. Issuance of electronic negotiable warehouse receipts (eNWR) through demat accounts ensure secure and transparent ownership and transfers of commodity assets digitally with no human intervention. CCRL-repository platform is also connected to all leading nationalised and private banks & NBFCs that provide seamless pledge finance on eNWRs.
