Paul Thompson

Paul Thompson has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Paul currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at County Broadband since May 2022, where they are responsible for strategic decision-making. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Delivery at County Broadband from October 2018 to May 2022.

Before joining County Broadband, Paul worked at Huawei Technologies (UK) Ltd for a substantial period, starting in June 2005. During their time there, they held the position of Delivery and Service Director until October 2018.

Paul also worked at Interoute Communications as a Project Manager from September 2003 to June 2005. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Consultant at Altran Europe from 1999 to 2003.

Early in their career, Paul worked as a Senior Network Engineer at Racal Telecom from 1997 to 1999.
