Lachanda Lee

Lachanda Lee has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various government organizations. Currently, they serve as the Human Resources Director for the County of Dinwiddie. Prior to this role, they worked as a Professional Development Program Consultant/Training Analyst for the City of Richmond from 2019 to 2022. In 2017, Lachanda worked as a Human Resources Administrator for Petersburg City Public Schools, where they supervised and evaluated HR specialists and monitored staffing and financial activities. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Manager/Principal Analyst, Employee Relations for Chesterfield County, where they handled complaints and grievances and managed and trained a team of staff.

Lachanda Lee completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from James Madison University from 1990 to 1994. Lachanda further pursued their education at Central Michigan University and received a Master's degree in Human Resources from 1998 to 2000.
