Christy Vivian Lihou

Christy Vivian Lihou serves as the Human Resources Manager for the County of Dufferin since 2022, overseeing HR operations, employee and labor relations, compensation, talent management, and health and safety, while also managing HR staff and conducting workplace investigations. Previously, Christy worked as a Labour Relations/Human Resources Consultant at the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2021, providing strategic advice on collective agreements and supporting management in grievance resolutions. Prior to that, Christy held the position of Manager of HR Client Services & Academic Staff Relations at Humber College from 2001 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing HR services, participating in strategic planning, and fostering effective relationships with clients and union representatives. Christy's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and an Honours Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology from York University, as well as a Certificate in Teacher/Trainer of Adults from Humber College.
