Hyunryong Jung

HyunRyong Jung is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing advanced algorithms in various domains. Currently serving as a Senior ML Engineer at Coupang since August 2020, Jung focuses on recommendation systems utilizing models such as CTR and CVR. Previous roles include Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Microsoft, where infrastructure and training pipelines for account protection models were established, and Lead Software Engineer at Grab, where projects included fraud detection and name-based gender prediction. Earlier experience includes significant contributions to Amazon and FactSet Research Systems. HyunRyong holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Chonnam National University, and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Chemistry Engineering from the same institution.
