Akber Malik

Akber Malik is an experienced product manager with a strong background in leading product strategy and engineering efforts. Currently serving as Lead Product Manager at Course Hero since August 2019, Akber has progressed through various roles including Senior Product Manager and Product Manager. Prior experience includes a brief stint at Reforge, where Akber participated in the Retention and Engagement Series, and a tenure at CoMedia Design from October 2017 to August 2019 as both Product Manager and Software Engineer, contributing to an award-winning innovation project in the vacation rental market. Akber co-founded Discors, serving as Head of Product from August 2014 to July 2017, focusing on providing accessible news analysis through a subscription model. Akber's education includes a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and participation in the Retention & Engagement Series at Reforge.
