Sarah Benson

Sarah Benson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership within various organizations focused on gender-based violence and women's rights. Currently serving as a Board Member for Cuan and the Courts Service, Sarah also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Women's Aid since May 2019. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Ruhama, Chairperson of the Coalition for the Abolition of Prostitution, and National Helpline Manager at Women's Aid. Sarah's educational background includes a Master of Business Studies from the Irish Management Institute, as well as degrees from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. Sarah completed four terms as Deputy Chairperson of the National Women's Council of Ireland and has provided valuable insights as a Non-Executive Board Member at The Wheel.
