Tiana Bettinson

Tiana Bettinson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Covalent. Prior to that, they were a Full-Stack Tutor at 2U from March 2022 to October 2022. From 2020 to 2021, Tiana was a 5th Grade Math Teacher at Harlem Village Academies, where they implemented innovative strategies to promote academic growth and analyzed assessment data to inform instruction. Before that, from 2017 to 2020, they worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Guadalupe Centers, where they achieved significant increases in test scores and collaborated with a team to design solutions. Tiana also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University in 2016, a SOAR Counselor at Multicultural Student Services in 2016, and a Student Assistant at Multicultural Student Services from 2015 to 2016. Tiana also worked as a Food Server at Brigham Young University in 2014 and as a Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor at Salt Lake County in 2012.

Tiana Bettinson holds a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Columbia Engineering Boot Camps, which they obtained in 2021. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis between 2017 and 2019. Tiana's education journey began at Brigham Young University, where they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Sociology from 2011 to 2017.
