Parun Rastogi

Parun Rastogi is a highly experienced professional in the field of network engineering and system administration. Parun started their career in 2008 as a Senior Cisco & Hardware Network Faculty at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, where they handled LAN management and troubleshooting tasks. Parun then worked at Hero Honda as a Network Engineer before joining IIHT Ltd as a Senior Faculty Cisco, where they trained students in various IT courses.

In 2011, Parun joined Inter-networkz as a Technical Trainer Cisco, responsible for managing and monitoring campus networks and Cisco racks. Parun also conducted CCNA and CCNP training for in-house and corporate batches. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the Technical Head at AMC SQUARE (A Venture of Wise Machines India Pvt. Ltd.), where they led the technical team, managed IT infrastructure, and implemented Cisco topologies and racks.

Parun continued to expand their skills in the network administration field, working as a Senior Network Administrator at Microland Limited in 2014. Here, they focused on change management, scripting, device implementation, and vulnerability management. Parun also played a key role in IOS upgrading, device hardening, and troubleshooting network-related issues.

In 2014, Parun joined IT BY DESIGN as a System Network Administrator, where they maintained, managed, and monitored Cisco networks using tools like Wireshark and Sys Log Servers. Parun also planned and executed projects related to IT infrastructure enhancement and network designing.

From 2015 to 2018, Parun worked at OJAS CUSTOMER SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED as a System Administrator and Technical Support specialist. Parun provided support on network infrastructure and data encryption using WinMagic products and SecureDoc Enterprise Software.

In 2018, Parun returned to IT BY DESIGN, this time as a Sr. Network/Advanced System Admin. Parun'srole involved handling network engineering tasks, including troubleshooting, configuration, and managing infrastructure projects.

Currently, Parun is working at Covalience, LLC as a Senior Network Engineer Level 5. Parun'sresponsibilities include working on core network projects, building and managing networks, troubleshooting devices such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, F5 BiG IP Loadbalancers, and implementing VPN configurations. Parun also utilizes network monitoring tools like PRTG and N-Central and is responsible for documentation using software like Visio Viewer, IPAM, and SharePoint.

Parun Rastogi's education history includes a B.SC.IT degree in Information Technology from Panjab University, which was earned from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Parun attended S.S. Children Academy in Moradabaad UP from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued the SSE degree with a focus on PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

In terms of additional certifications, Parun has acquired several notable qualifications. They obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2020. In October 2019, Parun completed the Sophos Central Overview - Engineer certification from Sophos. In October 2011, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level - Version 3 certification from EXIN. Back in December 2005, Parun earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows 2000 Server (MCSE) certification from Microsoft.

In addition to these certifications, Parun has also attained various Cisco certifications. These include the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification, obtained in July 2009, as well as the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) certification, achieved in August 2012. Furthermore, Parun has obtained the CCIE Theory certification from Cisco in November 2013, followed by the CCIE LAB certification in February 2014.
