Areeb Haddad, B.Eng.

Areeb Haddad has a diverse work experience in various industries. Areeb started their career as an Engineering Student Engagement Partner at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2016. Areeb then worked as a Municipal Infrastructure Student and Building Design & Construction Student with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Areeb also had a Mechanical Engineering Co-op role at Skyjack Inc., where they supported the Engineering Design and Technical Publication teams.

In 2019, Areeb joined WP Innova as a Sampling & Crates Coordinator, where they played a multi-faceted role in providing support and process improvements for sales, logistics, inventory management, and manufacturing. A year later, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Flat Iron Building Group Inc., coordinating general contracting activities for interior renovation projects.

From 2021 to 2022, Areeb worked at Amazon Global Robotics. Areeb started as a Robotics Deployment Engineer, providing engineering and technical support for the deployment of robotics systems in Amazon fulfillment centers. Later, they took on the role of Site Lead (Robotics Deployment Engineering), where they managed the robotics deployment team and oversaw all robotics work scopes for newly built Amazon warehouses.

Currently, Areeb is a Deployment Mechanical Engineer at Covariant, starting in 2023. Further details regarding this role are not provided.

Areeb Haddad attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering. In August 2018, they also obtained a certification as an Autodesk Certified User in AutoCAD from Autodesk.
