Matt Castillo, MBA

Matt Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt is currently serving as the Revenue Operations Lead at Covariant since December 2022. Previously, they were the President/CEO of CakeBoi Ventures, Inc, an upscale catering company in the north Austin area since December 2010.

Before that, Matt worked at Dematic in different positions. Matt started as a Business Analyst in September 2016 and later transitioned to the role of Process Excellence Business Partner in September 2019. From July 2020 to April 2021, they served as a Digital Solution Manager at Dematic NA. In April 2021, they became a Corporate IT Applications Engineer, overseeing various systems like Concur, Alteryx, CauseLink, Wrike, and taking the lead on ClickUp.

During their time at Dematic, Matt also co-founded and co-chaired PRISM, the LGBTQ+ Dematic employee network.

Prior to working at Dematic, Matt worked at Aston Carter as a Finance professional from September 2016 to March 2018.

Matt also served as the Financial Controller at RCM Concepts, Inc. from January 2012 to December 2015, where they oversaw business incorporation, financial decisions, auditing, and corporate filings.

Matt's earlier roles include Business Manager at Leslie Jones & Associates, Inc. from October 2007 to January 2010 and Controller at Preferred Technologies, Inc. from May 2004 to March 2007.

Their career started as the Director of Human Resources at NetVersant - Texas, Inc. in February 2001, where they were responsible for HR management.
